Live with authenticity, practice patience, let go of negativity - these are some of the core tenets of yoga lifestyle, on and off the mat. Yoga is about much more than twisting yourself into shapes - the heart of this ancient practice is an inner journey, one of reflection, spiritual awakening and ultimately a calm, clear mind.
This 10 week Yogi Assignment is an opportunity to carve out time in your week to practice and learn about these life-affirming and simple principles. Based on the book Yogi Assignment, by Kino McGregor, this yoga series, led by senior yoga teacher Melissa Mungiovi, will challenge and uplift your mind, body and spirit. Each day will offer movement, meditation and a talk that will help to confront your emotional, physical and mental limitations and inspire real change in your life.
Every course will be different each week. It is a course that can be taken by anyone interested in diving a bit deeper into the teachings and philosophy of yoga. It is a course that can be taken once or ongoing, as it is simply an action of taking out time for you to contemplate, listen, learn and take one breathe at a time.

About Melissa Mungiovi:
Melissa has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. Wanting to share the joy of yoga with her students, she got certified in Kundalini yoga through the Radiant Child program. Melissa is also a 200h Ashtanga Yoga Alliance certified teacher, having completed her certification at Energie EnCorps with teachers Rozel Gonzales and Shankara Darby. She currently assists with the Energie EnCorps YTT.
