YOGA F(x) Series: Tonic Abs


* Part 1 of YOGA F(x) Series

The Tonic Abs workshop includes a series of toning and vigorous exercises and poses based on Yoga Tune Up® and other activities (Pilates, CrossFit, yoga, fitness, etc.) to better understand your deep abs, but especially to wake them up and strengthen them! This workshop is specially designed to increase the physical strength of your ABDOMINALS (including the entire trunk, from the pelvic floor to the neck!) And thus reduce or eradicate tension and minimize the risk of back injuries. As a bonus, you will improve your overall posture.

 

This workshop will help you to:

  • Understand when and how to relax or engage the different muscles in your core
  • Improve your posture
  • Deepen your breathing
  • Develop a better relationship with that sometimes unloved part of your body
  • Optimize the movements of your pelvic floor and diaphragm
  • Strengthen your abs!
Prerequisite: The desire to learn more about your body and have fun while strengthening your abs!

The Abs tonic workshop is stimulating and may require some physical effort, but it is accessible to everyone (even beginners). No yoga experience is required.

Required material for both workshops:

  • Coregeous ball
  • Alpha Ball
  • 2 yoga blocks
  • 1 elastic
  • yoga blanket or beach towel

Part 2: YOGA F(x) Series: Your thoracic spine and neck

 

This workshop is specially designed to eradicate pain and release tension in your neck, upper back, rib cage and shoulders. It is ideal for those who work daily sitting at a desk or with their head flexed (forward), those who suffer from tension or chronic pain in the back or shoulders, those who suffer from respiratory disorders, asthma or allergies and those who wish to increase their athletic performances such as their golf swing, their tennis smash or their "overhead" squat.
