What happens in a FREE 30m OSTEOPATH CONSULTATION? | Let’s Ask Ken, Osteopath

Osteopathy is still somewhat of a mystery for many people.  This being said, this is exactly why at Energie EnCorps we offer all of our clients one free consultation with one of our osteopaths. We want you to get to know our staff, understand how we can help you and build a trusting relationship with you.

For those who are new to osteopathy, here is a brief description:

Osteopathy, also known as the osteopathic approach is a manual therapy discipline. Its main goal is to help restore the human body’s natural equilibrium and harmony. Osteopathy is a discipline based on the anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the human body. The client is intervened with a global approach, so rather than simply to intervene the symptom the body is to intervene as a whole entity. Clients of all ages can benefit from osteopathy.

A 30-minute consultation would be comprised of the following:

1) Assessment of body symmetry

2) Identification of tension point

3) Range of motion and restrictions analysis of the body

The osteopath would watch how you stand, perhaps walk.  They would check how you bend forward and twist.  This is done to see where the imbalances are coming from. They would place their hands on your back, neck, shoulders to palpate and feel how well you move and where your restrictions reside.

Upon this analysis, the osteopath would then be able to determine what the course of action should be, which areas to focus on first.  An explanation of the course of action would be provided and of course, you would be given time to ask questions.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to receive a free consultation.  This service is also available for nutrition, personal training, and reiki.
